This training program has as its aims: 1) to produce students with PhDs in biostatistics who have a strong interest and training in the application of statistics to mental health and psychiatry; and 2) to provide training in biostatistics for postdoctoral fellows (psychiatrists, psychologists, or individuals with a PhD in mathematics or mathematical statistics) with interests in mental health who seek to strengthen their quantitative abilities. Both of these aims are designed to provide the field
