Federal Advocacy office and will represent the Association before Congress, Executive agencies and coalition groups on assigned legislative and regulatory issues including but not limited to, emergency cardiac care and issues related to healthcare quality, including long-term and end-of-life care. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years related experience in government relations (or related field) or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience in government relations (or related field). Bachelor’s degree in Government Relations, Political Science or related field is preferred. Knowledge of federal legislative, executive branch and regulatory procedures and policies, lobbying activities and relevant health issues is required. Must have excellent oral/written communication skills and the ability to interact and develop rapport with internal and external customers and operate with minimal supervision.
