Salary Range: PS23, $49,689.00 - $71,106.00 (Maximum Offer: $60,884.00)

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Masters Degree or equivalent degree in Statistics, Biometrics, Epidemiology,

Public Health, Computational Biology.

- One (1) or more years working experience in a biomedical institution preferred.

- Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database

and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

- Proficiency and working knowledge of Unix, SAS, S-plus in Windows and Unix environments.

- Knowledge of web design and Bioinformatics highly desirable.

- Effective oral and written communications skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary purpose of the Assistant Statistician position is to provide

statistical programming and data management and analysis functions under the

direction of Biometrics faculty members to fulfill our commitment to the

research projects required by the NCI Cancer Center Supporting Grant.
