The Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track appointment at the level of Assistant Professor. The candidate is expected to have experience in public nutrition research in developing countries. Areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, epidemiology, medicine and/or the social and behavioral sciences. The candidate is expected to establish and maintain a vibrant and independent research program, and to build academic linkages within DNS program areas, and with other departments and centers throughout the university. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching epidemiology in the Division’s graduate and undergraduate program, bring unique expertise and perspectives to the Cornell curriculum, and mentor graduate students within and outside the Division of Nutritional Sciences. This position is part of major university-wide initiatives in Global Health, Social Sciences and the New Life Sciences.
